Awesome activities, educational English adventures in nature and personal growth are what our Summer Camps are about! Led by highly-trained and bilingual staff, there are many exciting experiences to be had and memories to be made at English Explorers, all in the beautiful surrounds of Myoko!

Age Groups

From 6 – 15 years old

Drop Off and Pick Up

The meeting point for the start and end of camp will be Tokyo Station. Our friendly camp staff will be there to greet you and your child at the beginning of camp and return your child safely at the end of camp.

Price

 5 Day Camp: 110,000 yen per child

Price includes: Transportation during the camp(Additional for from/to Tokyo), Insurance, All activities fee, EE T-shirt, meal, and accommodation.

Riki Best

Riki is from Sydney, Australia! He loves hiking out in the wilderness and mountain climbing. This summer you might see Riki out on the hiking trail or, if you look close enough, waving from the top of Mt Myoko!

Camp Leaders

Laura Ecker

Laura is from Trofaiach in the center of Austria. She loves painting and drawing as well as travelling the world. When she is not working on her paintings she spends her time outdoors; mountain biking, bike packing, hiking, climbing the local mountains and swimming in ice cold lakes. Laura also has 8 chickens in her garden and enjoys a fresh egg every day.

Phaael Walkley

Phaeel grew up in Cairns, Nimbin, and Sydney, Australia! These days he lives Saitama and enjoys snowboarding, capoeira, art and languages. In the summer you can find Phaael playing in the water and eating watermelon, some say he can spit the seeds over 20 metres!

Richard Crossley

Richard is from Manchester, England. He is usually snowboarding in the winter, and scuba diving in the summer. His family even owns a diving shop in Portugal. Other hobbies include cycling, and taking a nap immediately after eating too much chocolate.

Camp Guide

Daniel 'Daggers' Thomson

Daniel is from Banchory, Scotland but his family is spread out all across the world in Scotland, Denmark, Australia, Taiwan and of course Daniel here in Japan. He’s traveled all around the world skiing, climbing, mountain biking and doing any other outdoor activity he can possibly find!
