Phaael

Phaeel grew up in Cairns, Nimbin, and Sydney, Australia! These days he lives Saitama and enjoys snowboarding, capoeira, art and languages. In the summer you can find Phaael playing in the water and eating watermelon, some say he can spit the seeds over 20 metres!
Richard

Richard is from Manchester, England. He is usually snowboarding in the winter, and scuba diving in the summer, his family even owns a diving shop in Portugal! His other hobbies include cycling, and taking a nap immediately after eating too much chocolate!
Andy

Andy is from Japan! However he lived overseas for more than half of his life in many countries across the continent. He is a father of 3 little kids. Also he owns a small kennel being chased by dogs and his kids everyday!
Justin

Hello, I’m Justin and I’m originally from Pennsylvania, USA but have lived in many different states. I love snowboarding in the winter and have more hobbies than I can count for the summer (including rock climbing, scuba diving, hiking, kayaking, and more)! I love the outdoors so much that I got my degree in biology and worked as a fisheries biologist in Colorado. I first came to Japan when I was 16 years old and fell in love, that’s why I eventually moved here to Myoko!
Michaela

Michaela is from the United States, originally from Texas but has lived in Colorado, Hawaii, and now Myoko, Japan. She has a Masters degree in Environmental Management, and cares deeply about conservation, sustainability, and sharing that passion with others. In her free time she loves to rock climb, snowboard, scuba dive, read fantasy novels, watch Lord of the Rings, and capture moments through her camera.
Maggie

Maggie comes from a small town in Indiana, USA, where growing up with four siblings meant life was full of adventures! She loves hiking, whitewater kayaking, and bird watching. She’s always on the lookout for cool wildlife and new trails to explore.

Miho

My name is Miho and I’m from Tokyo. I’ve been skiing since I was a child and have worked as a ski instructor in Canada, Australia, and Japan. I’ve been living in Myoko Kogen for 15 years.
I have two children, and we love enjoying the beautiful nature around Myoko. In winter we ski, and in summer we enjoy cycling, playing in the river, and other outdoor activities.
I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone at the summer camp! 🌿
